An object outlives time. So should its story.

Patinae is the digital memory of the objects that matter.

Over time, it preserves and enriches what cannot be seen around each object: its history, its memories, the emotions attached to it and the people who lived alongside it.

Stories, photos, videos, voice messages and documents gradually build a living, private and secure memory that accompanies the object throughout its existence.

And on the day the object is passed on, its story travels with it.

  • My grandfather's watch Yellow gold · 1952

My grandfather gave me this watch two years before he passed away. It no longer tells the time. I could have it repaired, but I would rather keep it as it is.

A watch outlives generations. Its story should do the same.

  • The origin

Who chose it. Who gave it. Where, when, and why. What turns an object into a memory.

  • Its story

The moments it has lived through, the craftspeople who shaped it, the servicing. Everything that enriches the object as time passes.

  • The handover

A watch is handed down naturally. Its story, far less so. Patinae lets the two stay together.

The object's private memory.

A journal that grows

Memories, photos, videos, voice messages, documents. Every important moment adds to the object's story.

Private and secure

Every piece of content is encrypted individually. You decide who sees what, and when.

A story in many voices

Owner, spouse, child or relative can all contribute to the object's memory, each from their own account.

The story follows the object

When it changes hands, Patinae revokes all other access and removes the former owner, in a single operation. The memory stays attached to the object and can keep growing.

In detail, for owners

Register. Enrich. Pass on.

  1. Register the object

Type, brand, model, serial number. The serial number is unique within Patinae: two accounts cannot claim the same piece. The manufacturer's reference stays optional.

  2. Tell its story

Add memories, photos, videos, voice messages and documents as time goes by. An entry on the day you buy it, a milestone in your life, a piece of good news.

  3. Pass it all on

Send an invitation to an email address, even without an existing account. On acceptance, ownership changes and the full journal follows the object. The invitation expires if it goes unanswered.

The story begins soon.

Leave us your details. One message, the moment Patinae is available.
